Mihe

About

Mihe is an assistant that operates the app it lives in. It is built by Neek Digital Solutions Ltd.

Why operate, not just guide

Most in-app assistants stop at guiding. They answer questions, point at buttons and walk people through tours. That is useful, and Mihe does it too. But when someone asks for an order to be refunded, the most helpful thing is for the order to be refunded.

An assistant that acts has to be safe to let act, and that is where most of the work in Mihe goes. It works through your permission model, never its own. Anything that matters waits for a person to confirm it, on a card your registry words. Every attempt is written down, including the ones it was stopped from making.

A tour product needs none of that, because nothing it does can lose money. We have it because a wrong action can. Guidance is always there: when the assistant cannot do something, or the person is better off doing it themselves, it shows them where. An app that registers no actions gets a guide, and can add actions whenever it is ready.

Where it was proven

Mihe was first put to work inside a food retail back office we also build, where staff work through orders all day. Most of what we fixed before launch was found there, by using it, rather than by reading the code.

The name

Mihe comes from the Igbo amamihe, wisdom. The mark is an oracle, a figure inside an open ring, with a pair of arcs for its voice. An oracle is the one who knows, and the arcs are because it can speak as well as type.

Who builds it

Neek Digital Solutions Ltd is a software company in Lagos, Nigeria. Mihe is its own product, a service any app can embed, not a feature of anything else we make.
